For the Trade Professional

We work hand in hand with our designers from start to finish.  Consider us one of the team!  You will work directly with the same individual from the point of measure, to fabrication and final install.  If you have a question, you will be working directly with the one individual who is familiar with all of the intimate details of your project, reducing the risk of miscommunication or error.

You and your clients will be treated with the same enthusiasm you and your client share for the project, because we love what we do!  We love working with fabric and we love design!

For our Residential Clients

Do you have your own fabric; have your own installer; do you want to purchase your own hardware; do you already know what style of window treatment you would like? We are happy to work with your existing fabric, hardware or installer when asked.

For those customers wanting a little more help, we will gladly offer recommendations for style and fabric.  In addition, when helping with fabric and hardware selection, we will use whatever resources you prefer; whether it be local retail store fronts or the Boston Design Center where we have established accounts with various vendors.  Let us help you make your visions a reality!

Services for both the Trade and Residential Client, include:

  • No fee, in-home consultations and measurements
  • Timely estimates of all charges including fabric yardage, labor, hardware and installation
  • Beautiful, hand-crafted fabrications
  • Professional installation, when requested, with Made By Hand on sight at the time of install at no additional charge.

Quality Craftsmanship

When you hire Made by Hand to fulfill your custom fabrication needs, you will be procuring quality craftsmanship.  We think we have a few standards that distinguish our work.  Our draperies are finished the traditional way with hand-stitched side and bottom hemmings.  Pillow and cushion seams are serged to ensure a long, lasting product with reduced risk of fraying over time.
